Grovedale FD is on scene of an accident south of Grande Prairie on hwy 40 and southbound lanes are currently shutdown for now, please find alternate routes(as per rcmp release) and follow directions of emergency responders.
GPTSR and Grovedale FD boats are on the river working downstream of the Wapiti bridge. Please avoid the area if possible.
If you are out and see anything unusual please call 911 or RCMP.

From the moms who keep things running at home, to the ones responding to emergencies, volunteering in our stations, supporting firefighters behind the scenes, and raising the next generation — thank you for everything you do.

Emergency services often means missed dinners, late nights, weekends away, and unpredictable calls. The support, patience, and strength shown by families — especially moms — never goes unnoticed.
