I am an avid walker and love to spend time on my weekends putting in steps in the great outdoors, with my strollmate (aka walking partner). On average, we walk 8-10 km a day. We didn't start out walking that far. With discipline and consistency, we conditioned ourselves to go the distance and we enjoy the health benefits that comes from movement, community and fresh air. You might be thinking "how do you know about these benefits if you just became a member?"

I have a background in economic development and my very first role in economic development was managing the North Huron Chamber of Commerce. I had the pleasure of working with so many passionate and hardworking business owners. As the manager, I was responsible for the bookkeeping of the organization and financial reporting to the Board of Directors. While I have been actively bookkeeping now for over 7 years, my bookkeeping experience actually spans over two decades!
