ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: Mutt /

Mutt aka Sean Roman is an Indigenous Toronto based artist who has been releasing music and DJing parties since 2005. He has been recognized internationally for his drum’n’bass releases and sets. Mutt has worked with a diverse selection of imprints such as: Creative Source, CIA, Metalheadz, Spearhead, Fokuz, and Breakbeat Science. As well as his own multi genre imprint .

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: Bandit Emcee

As one of Toronto’s most celebrated emcee talents, Bandit has galvanized dancefloors for over two decades with his melodic flow, dynamic lyricism and innate ability to connect with crowds.

Highlights from his 20+ year career include recurring appearances on Citytv and MuchMusic’s Electric Circus; residences at Turbo, Limelight, and System Soundbar; as well as onstage appearances with Syrous, Renegades, WEMF, and On Point Events.

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: Saranemone

Saranemone is a Toronto born and raised all-vinyl jockey’er of discs. With a passion for bringing back the old-school junglistic roots - breakbeats and drum and bass - served from the platters of the wheels of steel to the dance floor.

Saranemone has spun alongside the likes of the Goodfellaz crew, Inner City Dance, and was the first guest on Rave Alarm’s live stream hosted by DJ Gobs and Virus on Twitch TV and Kniteforce Radio (and has been back for more appearances since). She has a passion for turntablism, and believes that spinning wax is like playing an instrument. Since 2023 she has been a resident DJ, and original crew of “The Future Underground” running the now prolific free weekly Wednesday - Kinetic! Happening every Wednesday at the Painted Lady Bar on Ossington.

When she isn’t spinning the life bombastic-plastic-fantastic, Saranemone is a multidisciplinary visual artist with a focus in borosilicate glass work and is often touted as the travelling merchant of the Toronto Rave scene.
