We want to take a moment to highlight some of our amazing staff! Today, we want to recognize Katarina! Woliwon for all you do!

June is National Indigenous History Month, a time to recognize, celebrate and learn about the rich histories, cultures, traditions and contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples across Canada.

It is also an opportunity to reflect on the importance of truth, reconciliation and continuing to build respectful relationships within local communities. We encourage everyone to take time this month to listen, learn, and honour Indigenous voices and experiences.

Supporting the communities we work alongside is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. We’re grateful to be part of the 2026 Welamukotuk Powwow, a gathering that honors culture, celebrates tradition, and brings people together in a meaningful way.
