Arts of Conversation Project 2021 with Arts Council Wood Buffalo. Artwork title: A field of Joy

This piece depicts the green lush fields in Finland with poppy flowers as a cultural ornament. Also the poppy here represents the youthful blood that runs along the Finnish lands. The snowy owl is apart of Mirjami story’s of her childhood. She was amazed by this remarkable creature, representing the white silent snow in the Finnish winters. It is a sense of joy and longevity of Mirjami’s spirit that I am illustrating in my artwork.

I had the honour to participate this year 2022 in RMWB Arts of Conversation Project for my lovely friend Alexandra 🌸 this was a wonderful artistic path I took proudly. 👐Thank you to my partner Norman that is always beside me to help in any creative endeavours I take.


Title: LIFE PATH
It is a commemoration of symbols depicting Evghenia’s life path on this earth. A collaboration between her early life culture from East Europe, with the new grandmother life she had on the indigenous native lands of Canada.
