Back in Winnipeg for the first time in 7 years and wow, what a way to return!
I’m here at the Federal NDP Convention, surrounded by friends, energy, and a movement that’s been ready and is fighting every single day for Canadians.
This morning, I had the honour of taking the stage to stand with my friend, Heather McPherson MP, as she runs for the leadership of our federal NDP. 🔥✊ 🧡

There’s nothing more powerful than a room full of people who believe in public healthcare.
Yesterday I volunteered at a Friends of Medicare townhall where Dr. Paul Parks laid it all out. The pressures on our system, what’s at stake, and what needs to change. It was honest, energizing, and exactly the kind of conversation we need more of.
As a board member of Friends of Medicare and a lifelong healthcare advocate, I will always stand up and fight for our public healthcare system.
When we show up together, change is possible.

Such a great day spending time with friends from the Alberta NDP for our Day of Action 📞🧡
Lots of calls, lots of good conversations, and a real reminder that when we show up together, we can build a better future for Alberta. Feeling energized and hopeful.
2025 was a year filled with so many moments and experiences I’m truly grateful for.
As Jack Layton reminded us: “My friends, love is better than anger. Hope is better than fear. Optimism is better than despair. So let us be loving, hopeful and optimistic. And we’ll change the world.”
Heading into 2026 with gratitude, optimism, and a whole lot of hope — the best has yet to come. 🧡

🔥 What a morning! I was proud to stand with Alberta’s incredible teachers and students at today’s rally.
This fight isn’t just about wages — it’s about jam-packed classrooms, the growing challenges in our schools, and a government that refuses to listen.
💪 Teachers show up for our kids every single day. It’s time this government learned a lesson and showed up for them too.
When we fight, we win. And when we win, every student in Alberta wins.
