✨ Meet our keynote speaker – Elizabeth Hammell! ✨
By day, Elizabeth is shaping innovative preventative health initiatives at Alberta Blue Cross. By night, she’s cheering on performers at North America’s largest and longest-running Fringe Festival. At first glance, these worlds might seem far apart — but Elizabeth thrives where structure meets creativity and strategy dances with imagination.
In her role at Alberta Blue Cross, she develops services from concept to implementation, building partnerships across the health-care sector and designing initiatives that promote wellness and preventative care. Previously, at the University Hospital Foundation, she helped pilot wearable digital orthotics to prevent diabetic foot ulcers, creating more interactive and proactive care for seniors.
Elizabeth also brings her expertise to Edmonton’s arts scene. As Board Chair of Fringe Theatre, she has expanded the festival’s reach and increased monthly donors by over 500%. For her, the bridge between health care and the arts is clear — in both arenas, she focuses on engagement, connection, and belonging.
💡 “It’s about taking care of people,” Elizabeth says — whether with a stethoscope or under the spotlight.
Join us at Her Impact: Build. Glow. Lead. to hear Elizabeth share her insights on leadership, creativity, and influence!
