💜dabbledoom💜

dabbledoom is in constant pursuit of all things low end. With a deep focus on incorporating flavors from every corner of bass music, his DJ sets paint a scene of hard hitting, distorted soundscapes, paralleled with forward thinking rhythms and melodies. Known to weave music that drives him into some of his own work, dabbledoom deliberately blurs the lines between creation and inspiration.

As a live sound technician and bin displacer for Umbral Sound System, Dominique Dubbeldam (dabbledoom) has been refining his ears on and around the dancefloor, growing and maintaining an understanding of sound system technology and the physics of sound.

Our host with the most & low end boss, dabbledoom, is your final artist on supporting duties for ! Catch him tonight at alongside a stacked roster of local talent.

Peep slide 2 for set times- see you tonight! 💜

The perfect Sunday reset after an incredible event✨

We’re welcoming March with two of the best to do it, and . These two have been making waves in the electronic music scene for years, with festival performances at Shambhala Music Festival, Bass Coast Festival, and more under their belts. We’re so excited to hear what they’ve cooked up for us this month.

About the artists:

⚡️Captivate⚡️

Captivate is a producer and DJ based on the ancestral lands of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh peoples.

His music pushes bass-forward sounds with deep roots in the past, drawing from 90s UK rave music, Jamaican soundsystem culture and ambient music. In recent years, leftfield techno has also become a key influence on his sound. Captivate’s DJ sets shapeshift between genres and tempos, instead focusing on mood, narrative, and rhythmic exploration.

🌊 Sorsari🌊

Sorsari is an Edmonton-based Canadian music producer and DJ known for his distinctive contributions to the wave and broader electronic music scenes. His work blends ambient, downtempo, trap-influenced, and atmospheric bass elements, helping shape the identity of the iconic wave genre.

Black history should never be confined to just one month, especially in the music industry. February is a super important checkpoint for any organization, even outside of music, to reflect on how we can do better in the year ahead. There is always infinite room to improve.

It’s also a time to acknowledge that our community and our music would be nothing (and frankly sound terrible) without the Black artists who paved the way.

When you’re buying music this month and every month hereafter, make sure to check out this incredible database of artists first. Bandcamp Friday is this upcoming February 6th 👀 Check out the database here (we’ll also add to our story so the link is clickable)

While we have your attention: we want every single person at our events to feel welcome and safe. Human rights are never up for discussion. It’s hard to find the words to describe how we feel about the state of the world right now, and it doesn’t feel like enough to make a social media post. But because it needs to be said-

Support Black & Indigenous artists.
F**k Danielle Smith and every single person in the USA administration.
Protect Trans youth & LGBTQIA2S+ rights.
Free Palestine, Iran, and every place facing genocide, corruption, & war driven by greed and violence.
F**k ICE.
Love and protect your neighbours.

If anyone wants to chat music history, we’d love to geek out with you. We love you all. Be safe. Be kind. 💜
