Hey Delta! Next Saturday will be fantastic -- ARE YOU IN?
We know it's a busy time of year, but we have a suggestion for you for next Saturday June 13 starting at 10 am.
🎵 Live music at the Red Barn
🐾 Dogs in costumes competing for best dressed prizes
🌮 Alohaaa's food truck
🏂 High fives from Jack the Giant of the Vancouver Giants
📸 Selfie stations along the route
🔍 A scavenger hunt for the kids
💌 A community message line called Words in the Wind

Oh, and it's a fundraiser too — but honestly, just come for the fun!
Every dollar stays local and goes directly to people in our community who need counselling but can't afford it. So you'll have fun AND feel good about it.

👋 Drop an "I'm in!" in the comments so we know to expect you!

See you Saturday the 13th! ☀️

Hey Delta! Here's something we love about the Move for Mental Health walk. Every single dollar we raise stays right here in our community.

No head offices. No admin overhead somewhere else. 100% of proceeds go directly to funding real, professional counselling for people in our community who need it but simply can't afford it.

Your neighbour. A coworker. Someone's kid.

It won't matter what kind of shoes you wear, your steps do something that lasts long after walk day is over. That's pretty powerful for a morning stroll.

👟 Sign up today and let's do this together. https://move-for-mental-health-2026.raiselysite.com/

A huge thank you to our title sponsor — Delta Hospital & Community Health Foundation — for boosting our impact and keeping community health at the heart of everything we do.

This Saturday (May 23), something beautiful is happening at Southlands. 🌱

The Southlands Tsawwassen Farmers Market opens for the season — and alongside it, we'll be there with the Southlands Spring Art Show, a special art experience called "Where Things Grow", showcasing how creativity can support healing, connection, and life with chronic pain.

Come find us at our booth to:
🎨 View artwork created in our Pain in the Arts program
✍️ Watch a live demo of mindfulness-based ink art
🌸 See personal pieces by artist Meg Neufeld, reflecting her journey with creativity and healing (the photo is a piece of Meg's called "Flourishing through Pain")
🌸 Pick up cards by artist Meg Neufeld, with proceeds supporting accessible mental health in Delta.

It's a morning worth making time for — fresh air, local vendors, live music, and art that means something.

📍 The Red Barn at Southlands, 6333 Market Ave, Tsawwassen
🗓️ Saturday, May 23 | 10 AM–3 PM

See you there. 💛
