I’m never going to apologize for loving her in public.

If I care about her, she’s going to know it. Not because I’m trying to prove something to the world, and definitely not because I’m weak… but because I was raised knowing that a real man never leaves a good woman questioning where she stands in his life.

Some people call it “doing too much” because they’ve never experienced what real peace looks like. They confuse consistency with desperation and effort with weakness because they’ve only ever known games, mixed signals, and surface level connections.

Me? I’m not too proud to hold her hand while we walk around the grocery store. I’m not too guarded to speak highly of her when she’s not around. I’m not too insecure to make sure she feels valued, protected, and deeply appreciated.

That’s not being soft.

That’s being a man.

A lot of people laugh at genuine love because they’ve never had the kind of connection that you read about in romance novels. They mock what they secretly wish they had.

At the end of the day, treating a woman with intention and respect will never make me less of a man.

If anything, it shows the kind of man I’ve become.

So if people say I show too much love, too much appreciation, or too much loyalty… that’s fine.

Because I’d rather be the man she never has to question than the one she has to heal from.

And if loving her in public makes some people uncomfortable… maybe it’s not because I’m doing too much ....
... maybe they’ve just never seen enough.
