For the sixth post in our series, we are looking at this stunning private residence in the Lindell Beach area. This residence nestles perfectly into its surrounding and is complimented by the beautiful landscaping. On the structural side, the multiple but varying curved timber trusses caused us to find efficiency in our connection detailing while maintaining a sleek, yet simple design. We are definitely proud of the finished product here, and were happy to be a part of this team.

We’re excited to share the newly launched public art installation at Peach Park.

Quantum Engineering provided the structural engineering for these two striking aluminum-framed structures. We know the aesthetic might not be to everyone’s taste, but our job is to make sure the architects’ and designers’ visions come to life in a structurally safe and sound way.

This project came together through amazing collaboration with:

🔹 Macqueen Systems
🔹 The talented architects and designers behind the concept.

One of the standout challenges was supporting and connecting the massive 1,500 lb carved log gutter running through the structure. It required special detailing and engineering attention. We also worked to ensure the aluminum frame offers long-lasting durability in a riverside environment.

It’s projects like this that remind us how engineering shapes art, community, and public spaces.
