🎒 Imagine being excited for your first day of school… but not having a backpack to carry your supplies in.

For many families in our community, back-to-school shopping is simply out of reach.

For just $25, you can help ensure a local student walks into school feeling confident, included, and prepared.

Because no child should have to start the school year feeling embarrassed, left out, or different simply because their family is struggling.

✨ Be the reason a child starts the school year with confidence. Sponsor a backpack today and help change a student’s first day of school📚

🌱 Thank you to Sarah's Farm Market for generously donating fresh green beans and zucchini today!

Through FreeHelpCK’s Harvest to Home program, we were delighted to ensure this fresh produce was shared with:

📍Chatham-Kent Community Health Centres
📍The Village Resource Centre
📍Tilbury Information and Help Centre - United Way of Chatham-Kent

It is truly amazing to see our community come together to ensure fresh, nutritious food reaches those who need it most.

A special thank you as well to The Village Resource Centre for donating crates to our program. These crates will make a significant difference as we continue collecting and distributing fresh produce from local farmers and organizations.

Together, we are transforming excess produce into hope, reducing food waste, and ensuring more families across Chatham-Kent have access to fresh food💚
