Selenite is 2 on the Mohs hardness scale, which makes it very soft and delicate. It can scratch easily and should be kept away from water since it’s a form of gypsum and can dissolve or get damaged with too much moisture. It can be gently wiped clean with a damp cloth if the need ever arises.

Each piece is unique, with natural variations in the stone.
