WordPress has a weird reputation.
𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲:
You've got guys like me who would happily go to war for WordPress and die on the frontlines.
(𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘪𝘧 𝘪𝘵 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘯𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘯'𝘴 𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥, 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘺𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘨𝘢𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘣𝘦𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘢 𝘣𝘢𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘵 𝘣𝘺 𝘢 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘰𝘳 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘞𝘦𝘣𝘧𝘭𝘰𝘸.)
𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝘃𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝘁:
Everyone else.
𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗮𝗿𝗲:
Bitter, hateful, anti-WordPress people.
𝗧𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺, 𝗜 𝗮𝘀𝗸:
"Who hurt you?"
𝗔𝗻𝗱:
"When was the last time someone hugged you?"
𝗡𝗼𝘄, 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗜 𝘀𝗮𝘆:
WordPress is much easier than you may think.
Those hateful people mentioned above?
They really do need a hug.
And they need to calm the hateful marketing.
There's plenty of space and servers for people to choose the best website platform for their business, which is obviously WordPress.
However...
𝗟𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿:
(1) dedicate your own time and energy into learning it; or...
(2) exchange your hard-earned dollars to have it build it for you.
And that, my friend, is why so many people rage against the WordPress machine.
𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗲𝗲:
WordPress 𝘪𝘴 free.
It's open source for anyone to use and many people contribute to it, making it one of the most flexible and customizable web systems on the planet.
It runs 43% of all websites and 63% of all Content Management Systems (CMS).
You can buy a domain for $20 bucks a year.
Get a decent hosting company (𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴) for $300 a year.
Then invest 40 to 120 hours into build a decent website using a SEO-friendly theme (𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴).
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲?
Me.
You can get a simple site built in 7 days
Or a smart, CRO/SEO setup ready in 30 days.
Plus, all my sites are 100% hand built by me.
That means its my fingers typing and mouse clicking while drag and dropping design elements I crafted in Photoshop to create a custom built website for your B2B service.
𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀+𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴:
Send a DM.
𝗢𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗲, 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀:
Feel free to spread your hate in the comments below.
And perhaps take a minute to give yourself a hug.
Until next time.✌️

For centuries, the best copywriters commanded attention and dollars.
Whether they were crafting biblical stories to fill hearts with fear and church coffers on Sundays or selling products on the pages of magazines and direct mailers...
𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.
We see this clearly in the 20th century, where ad men like David Ogilvy, Leo Burnett, and Claude C. Hopkins built empires with their words.
Ogilvy taught us the power of brand and respect for the customer.
Burnett found the "inherent drama" in every product, giving us iconic figures like the Marlboro Man and Tony the Tiger.
And Hopkins pioneered "scientific advertising," using data and testing to prove what worked long before it was the norm.
These were the titans who shaped an industry, that is, until the internet arrived.
𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗴𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗿𝘂𝘀𝗵!
The internet tore down the wall that separated loser wannabes from the big time winners. Now anyone with a dream and a copy of DotCom Secrets could learn how to lure people into their funnels to capture cash, and fast.
The digital playground was a wild, unregulated place where a witty brain and a clever scheme could build an empire overnight.
𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿.
Just as direct mailers and magazine spreads eventually gave way to the digital funnel, that playground is now being paved over by algorithms.
Right now, we have AI and its leveling the playing field, putting the power of writing in everyone's hands.
However...
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 "𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗜 𝗹𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻?" 𝗯𝘂𝘁 "𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗜 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝗮 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗹𝘆 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁?"
And sadly, my friend, you won't find the answer in a $697 online course.
Today's winners are simply those who understand that the playground is evolving but the principles of winning through writing have not.
Words will forever be the key to power and influence and profit.
The difference is that today, that means:
✅ Becoming the trusted source.
✅ Giving away your best ideas for free.
✅ Turning followers into a community that chooses to follow you.

If you still want to play on the old playground, go to Indonesia. They still allow advertising for ci******es on billboards and, I think, commercials.
