🐾 Motivation Monday 🐾

Rescue isn’t about changing the world overnight.

It’s about changing one dog’s world at a time.

One foster who says ā€œyes.ā€
One volunteer who gives an hour.
One donation.
One application.
One share.

Every small act of kindness creates a ripple that reaches farther than you may ever know.

As we head into a new week, thank you for being part of our village. Whether you’ve fostered, adopted, donated, shared our posts, or simply cheered us on—you are making a difference.

Here’s to another week of second chances, wagging tails, and hope. ā¤ļøšŸ¾

šŸ’™ So Many of You Have Fallen in Love with Jack šŸ’™

When we first introduced Jack, we never imagined how many hearts he would touch.

So many of you have followed his journey, celebrated his progress, sent encouraging messages, and checked in to see how he’s doing. Your kindness has meant more than you know.

If you’ve been looking for a way to support Jack, this is it.

🐾 Our 100 Kisses for Jack fundraiser is still underway!

Every square purchased helps us continue providing the veterinary care and support Jack needs.

šŸ’‹ $20 per square
šŸ† One lucky winner receives 50% of the pot
ā¤ļø The remaining 50% goes directly toward Jack’s veterinary expenses.

Every square purchased is another reminder that Jack has an incredible community standing behind him. Whether you’ve been with us since day one or you’re just learning about his story, thank you for caring about this special boy.

If buying a square isn’t possible right now, sharing this post is another wonderful way to help.

From all of us at WildKind Rescue Society—and especially from Jack—thank you for being part of his journey. ā¤ļøšŸ¾

🐾 Foster Home Needed 🐾

This handsome young boy is getting the fresh start he deserves, and he’ll be joining WildKind Rescue Society this weekend!

Estimated to be around 1 year old, he has already been through more than any dog should. Despite that, his future is looking brighter, and now all he needs is a foster home to help him begin his next chapter.

Fostering gives dogs like him the chance to decompress, feel safe, and learn what it means to be part of a family. It’s one of the most rewarding ways to make a difference, and for this sweet boy, it could change his life forever.

WildKind Rescue provides the veterinary care, supplies, and ongoing support—you simply provide the love and a safe place to land while we search for his forever home.

Could you be the person who helps him discover that his best days are still ahead?

Together, we can give this deserving boy the happy beginning he’s been waiting for. ā¤ļø

PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING TO FOSTER

Jack is not a typical foster dog. He is not a dog that just needs love and patience. He needs a very specific home with someone who fully understands what living with him looks like.

So here’s the complete picture.

🐾 Jack cannot live with other animals.

Dogs, cats, small pets—none. He has a history of redirecting onto other animals and needs to be the only pet in the home.

🐾 Jack also struggles with people inside the home.

This isn’t just stranger danger.

When Jack becomes anxious or overwhelmed, his reaction is to bark, growl, and lunge toward the person or thing he feels threatened by. These triggers can seem unpredictable and include things like:

• Someone moving their feet while sitting on the couch.
• Sudden movements.
• Unexpected touch.
• Loud or unfamiliar noises.
• Household appliances like the dishwasher.
• Simply something he decides he doesn’t like in that moment.

His anxiety response is intense, and it is always taken seriously.

🐾 What Jack needs

āœ”ļø No children.
āœ”ļø No other pets.
āœ”ļø Someone physically capable of safely handling an English Bulldog.
āœ”ļø Someone comfortable managing a dog with behavioural challenges.
āœ”ļø A calm, predictable home.

Jack is not a beginner dog.

He is not a dog that can simply ā€œbe introduced slowly.ā€

He requires constant management, awareness of his body language, and respect for his boundaries.

Despite all of this…

Jack is still goofy.

He still loves to play.

He still has the biggest bulldog smile.

He still deserves a chance.

We know his person is out there. They just need to understand exactly who Jack is before raising their hand.

If, after reading all of this, you truly believe you can give Jack the environment he needs to succeed, we would love to hear from you.

Please share this post. The more people who understand Jack’s reality, the better chance we have of finding the right home—not just any home, but his forever one. ā¤ļø

🐾 THANKFUL THURSDAY 🐾

Today, we’re thankful for our fosters. šŸ’›

The people who open their homes, rearrange their routines, clean up the messes, lose a little sleep, and love a dog knowing that one day they’ll have to say goodbye.

Without our fosters, there is no WildKind Rescue.

We don’t have a facility. We don’t have rows of kennels. Every dog we are able to help is because someone said, ā€œThey can stay with me.ā€

Our fosters give dogs a safe place to land, time to decompress, a chance to heal, and the love they need while we work to find their forever homes.

Every intake.
Every recovery.
Every adoption.
Every happy ending.

It all starts with a foster.

To every person who has opened their home to a WildKind dog—past or present—thank you. None of this would be possible without you. šŸ¾šŸ’›

You are the heart of this rescue. šŸ¤

Three weeks.

That’s what we have left to find Jack a place to call home.

We’ve shared his story more times than we can count. We’ve reached out to other rescues. We’ve networked, asked for help, brainstormed every option we could think of, and we are still searching.

The truth is, Jack isn’t asking for much.

He isn’t looking for a busy house, dog siblings, or a life full of adventures. He just needs one person. One quiet home. One chance to finally exhale.

Jack has survived abuse. He has survived neglect. He has endured pain that no dog should ever know. Yet somehow, he still greets the people he trusts with the biggest smile and the softest heart. If he can continue to believe in people after everything he’s been through, then we owe it to him to keep believing that his person is out there too.

His needs are specific, and we know that makes finding his perfect match more difficult—but not impossible.

šŸ” Jack is looking for:
• No other pets
• No children
• A calm, quiet household
• A detached home (no shared walls)
• Someone willing to love him for exactly who he is

We’ve also been working closely with our veterinarian to help Jack feel more comfortable. We recently trialed anxiety medication, but unfortunately it didn’t make the difference we had hoped for. We’re now starting another medication in hopes of giving this sweet boy’s mind a little more peace. He deserves that chance.

Every day that passes, we wonder where Jack will go.

We know his person is out there somewhere. Maybe they’ve just never seen his face. Maybe this post will finally reach them.

Please don’t scroll past him.

Share his story. Tag a friend. Talk about him. Help us reach the one person whose heart has room for an overly loving introvert who has spent far too much of his life waiting for someone to choose him.

Jack is ready.

Now he just needs someone to be ready for him. ā¤ļø

🐾 TIP TUESDAY: Practice Handling at Home 🐾

A few times a week, gently practice:

🐾 Touching and holding their paws
šŸ‘‚ Looking inside their ears
🦷 Lifting their lips and checking their teeth
🪮 Brushing and touching different parts of their body
šŸ¤— Gentle restraint for just a few seconds

Keep sessions short, calm, and positive. Pair handling with treats, praise, or something your puppy loves.

The goal isn’t to force them to ā€œput up with it.ā€ It’s to help them slowly build comfort and trust.

A little practice now can make future nail trims, grooming, vet visits, and everyday care much less stressful—for your puppy and for you. šŸ¶šŸ’›

Start small. Reward often. Never rush.

Two adoption posts in one day? We don’t mind one bit. šŸ¤Ž

After celebrating her brothers, it’s only fitting that we share some more happy news…

Mocha has officially been adopted! šŸŽ‰šŸ¾

This sweet girl has found her forever family, and we couldn’t be happier for her. Watching these puppies head off to loving homes is exactly why we do what we do.

Thank you to everyone who followed their journey, shared their posts, and supported them along the way. Every share, comment, and application helped these pups get one step closer to the lives they deserve.

Congratulations, Mocha! We can’t wait to watch your new adventures unfold. Wishing you a lifetime of love, belly rubs, and endless treats. ā¤ļø

Happy tails, sweet girl!

BREW IS HOME! šŸ”šŸ¾

Today, Brew left with his new family, and our hearts are so incredibly full. ā¤ļø

His new mom has been patiently waiting for this day, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a more amazing home for this sweet little boy.

From the moment Brew came into our care, we knew he was special—and today, he got the happy ending every rescue dog deserves. 🄹

We are so, so happy for you, Brew. Go live the most beautiful life with your new family. You are already so loved. šŸ’•

Happy forever, little man. šŸ¾šŸ”ā¤ļø

Sunday Thoughts from Jack ā¤ļø

Every week we’re blown away by the love and applications Jack receives. To every single person who has shared his story, cheered him on, or submitted an application—thank you. It means more than you know.

The truth is, finding Jack’s forever home isn’t about finding a home—it’s about finding his home.

Jack has very specific needs, and after everything he’s been through, we owe it to him to be incredibly thoughtful about where he spends the rest of his life. That means we sometimes have to say no to wonderful people simply because the fit isn’t right. It isn’t a reflection of the applicant—it simply means we’re putting Jack’s future first.

Our sweet boy deserves a home where he can feel safe, understood, and set up to succeed. We know that home is out there, and we won’t stop searching until we find it.

Thank you for continuing to support him, share his posts, and believe in his journey. Every share brings us one step closer to the person who will see Jack for exactly who he is—a loyal, funny, resilient boy who deserves his happily ever after.

We promise him every day that we’ll find his perfect match… and we intend to keep that promise. ā¤ļø
