New cast on✨️ I was looki g for high knee socks for my regional.outfit that I'll be wearing soon and couldn't find a pair that I really liked sooooo at the very last minute I decided to take my own hands to matter and make a pair myself😅

Both sides of this hexi granny cardigan are finished, but I’m going to add a few rows on the back and a button hem.
Feeling quite accomplished since I'm just winging this project😅

This escalated quickly… and I’m not mad about it 😅

I fell hard for this cotton yarn and what started as a “maybe a spring cardigan?” idea turned into… this. Spring is approachinh fast here, so the timing feels right. I’m totally winging a hexagonal granny square and I’m really happy with how it’s coming together so far.

✨ Studio updates ✨
It’s taken me a few months (and two moves… with the second happening next weekend) 🤞 to feel settled again. Things have been busier than I expected, but now that I finally feel more established, it’s time to get back on track with making stitch markers and notions. I really miss being immersed in collections, designs, colour and mountains of beads.

It's been a loooong hiatus off the 'gram friends! I'm back in Canada for the holidays and I'm so happy to spend a few days with the family. Its really making me appreciate every single moment I spend with them.

The house is upside down, there's been some renovations and I found a bag of bits at the same time I received email with this pattern suggestion, the snap hat. Its a chippy potato toque, and I just finished it in one afternoon. Win win situation.

I enjoyed it so much I decided to go for another one immediately. Now I just need to find a darning needle to finish it.
