Are you looking ahead to 2026 with big goals and new possibilities? ✨

For many Albertans with disabilities, everyday dreams like finding meaningful work, expressing creativity, or trying something new in their community can feel out of reach because of ongoing barriers.

Because of your support, participants can:
✔️ Build confidence and skills for meaningful employment
✔️ Express their creativity, earn income, and share their talents
✔️ Grow independence and feel a true sense of belonging in their community

We’re just $15,000 away from reaching our $100,000 goal by the end of 2025! Every gift supports vital art programs, employment workshops, and community activities like cooking, swimming, and social connection.

⏰ There’s still time! Donate before December 31 at 11:59 PM to receive a 2025 tax receipt. Donate now by going to chrysalis.ca/donate

Your gift today helps create hope, belonging, and a lifetime of possibilities. 💙

Sometimes we are forced to or we know we need a change and reinvention.

This tecnique to strip everything back and remind yourself of the basics will ripple and you will find it highly effective.

This is not the motivational noise that floats around online. Just the simple things that actually move a life forward when you apply them for real.
not

Being proactive. Taking responsibility for my reactions. Getting clear about what I actually want and where I am going. Putting my energy into the things I can influence instead of spiraling on the things I cannot. Choosing priorities instead of letting chaos choose for me. Trying to understand before I jump to defend myself. Learning when to work alone and when to collaborate. Making sure I am not running myself into the ground while I help everyone else.

None of this is glamorous. None of it makes you feel like a superhero. But it does build a life that is steadier than the one you had before. It generates a blueprint for a version of you when we are faced with change and uncertainties.

These seven habits are not about perfection. They are about creating a foundation that keeps you upright when everything else around you is shaking. And once you generate this you WILL feel a change.

If any of this hits where you are at, swipe through the carousel. Take what helps. Leave what does not. I am just sharing what has kept me sane and functional while the rest of life has been an Olympic level obstacle course.

We keep going. We keep adjusting. We keep sharpening ourselves so we do not burn out while we try to rebuild.

Specifically answering questions like this and being very specific about your answers, is a launchpad!

Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday, and we have big news to share.

Beginning tomorrow, every dollar you give will be matched up to $150,000 thanks to the generous support of the Brown and Williamson Family Fund at Calgary Foundation, ARC Resources, Brian and Sandra Moreland, Genesis Land Corporation, and several anonymous donors.

This match launches on Giving Tuesday and continues throughout our campaign, doubling the impact of every gift and helping ensure people in our community can access the mental health supports they need.

You can help unlock the full $150,000 match and create new seasons of hope and possibility for those who need it most.

Give tomorrow. Your gift is matched.

The CP association is very dear to me. Throughout Baily’s life we have been cared for and guided by several of the organizations that pertain to her specific needs, and this was a game changer one for us. Consider checking out their donations and volunteering needs. They are all formidable causes ❣️ every penny and man hour counts in a big way!

🎉Mark your Calendars! December 5 is International Volunteer Day, a global celebration of the people whose actions strengthen our communities every day.

This year’s theme, , reminds us that meaningful change happens when we come together. Every act of volunteering, no matter the size, helps to build more connected, inclusive communities in Alberta and beyond.

also marks the launch of the United Nations' International Year of Volunteers for Sustainable Development ( ), recognizing volunteers as essential drivers of positive, sustainable change.

✨ A few ways you can celebrate volunteers:

✨ Share public recognition by posting stories, photos, or quotes from volunteers on your website, newsletter, or social media.
✨ Send personalized notes, e-cards, or short video messages from staff, leadership, or community members.
✨ Highlight volunteer impact through a short report, infographic, or email
✨ Create a "volunteer wall of appreciation" (digital or in-person)
✨ Host a gathering (coffee chat, open house, or a thank-you event)
✨ Offer a small token of appreciation (Certificates, volunteer-themed items, or small gifts).
✨ Provide learning or networking opportunities that support volunteer growth.

Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday…or Giving $2’sday for Accessible Housing.
We are inviting Calgarians to donate just $2 from their coffee or treat budget in support of what we do.

While two dollars may feel small on its own, the collective impact of thousands of Calgarians giving together can dramatically expand affordable, accessible housing in our city.
