Two weeks ago, I took part in my very first Christmas market ever. I had no idea what to expect. I prepared as much as I could, took inspiration from Pinterest, followed people who do markets, read everything I could find about Christmas markets… and still, my first table wasn’t great. But hey, we’re here to learn, right?

A week later came my second Christmas market, and let me tell you… the small changes made a BIG difference.

I realized that the candles on my display shelves were still too low for customers passing by. So I bought large wooden crates and placed the shelves on top of them. That simple change raised the candles to the perfect viewing and smelling height. I added lighting that highlighted the candles instead of the table itself, and it made the whole setup look warmer and more inviting.

I also downsized my table, instead of an 8 ft table, I used a 6 ft one, and it was perfect. Sometimes size really doesn’t matter!

Sales went up, I got tons of compliments, and I finally felt like my table truly represented my brand. And God knows I’m not usually one to hype myself up, but I’m really proud of this personal improvement. ✨
