I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you. It was a tough season from start to finish, and although the end came much sooner than we had hoped, it is always my pleasure to write for this team and this forum. There will be more analysis and news to come over the next few months, but until then, thank you to the absolute best fans in the world for another incredible season. BOOKED OUR TICKET BACK TO CALI! That was much, much better. The Oilers came out flying and built up a three goal lead after 20, as Podkolzin, Hyman and Draisaitl got on the board. A bad penalty resulted in a Ducks goal midway through the second, but just under two minutes later, the Oilers restored their three goal lead with a powerplay goal from Leo. Edmonton took no chances in the third, opting to shut things down defensively and frustrate the Anaheim offence. JUST NEED TWO WINS NOW. GAME SIX GOES THURSDAY! PLAY LA BAMBA BABY. 4-1 FINAL!!

GAME 5! The Oilers will look to stave off elimination as they return to Rogers Place in a 3-1 deficit. The Ducks have been the better team by a considerable margin through this whole series. Time to dig in, or face an early exit. Puck drops at 8:20!

Connor McDavid and Jason Dickinson both missed morning skate and have been deemed game-time decisions. Colton Dach returns to the lineup after missing game 4 with an illness. Connor Ingram gets the start as the Oilers aim to book a trip back to SoCal.
