On A Wing Healing

I couldn’t walk past this tree without stopping to admire it.

Its trunk is twisted. Its branches reach in unexpected directions. Time and weather have left their mark.

Yet it is still growing.
Still green.
Still beautiful.
Still offering shade and shelter.

Sometimes we live in a world that celebrates the young sapling and overlooks the old tree. Yet there is a special kind of beauty that comes with age, experience, resilience, and wisdom.

Like this tree, we carry the stories of all the seasons we have lived through. Every twist, every scar, every challenge has shaped who we are today.

And perhaps our greatest gifts are found in what we can offer others along the way: encouragement, support, understanding, and a little shade from the heat of life’s storms.

This old tree reminded me that beauty doesn’t fade with age. It deepens.
