A colleague of mine just shared this information for a new non-profit that I think is very important. This is not an endorsement, as I have not met Christianne, but I wanted to put it out there in case there is a need.
Christianne Murphy, a practicing estate lawyer with Underwood Gilholme, has recently launched a nonprofit organization called Willow Tree Testaments. Its mission is to provide free educational sessions on estate planning and related legal topics for people who cannot otherwise afford legal counsel.

These sessions cover:
• Wills
• Enduring Powers of Attorney
• Personal Directives
• Estate administration and probate basics
• Applications under the Adult Guardianship and Trusteeship Act

This work is particularly relevant for people living with disabilities and their families, as many are unaware of the challenges that can arise if legal documents are not in place.

The first free session is taking place on May 7, and Christianne is currently working to ensure it reaches individuals and communities who would benefit most.
