Katherine Dunham delivered one of the greatest gifts to the dance community with her specialized technique developed from years of anthropological study around the world💪🏾.

Her technique blends traditional dances of the African Diaspora, modern and ballet.

Dunham technique creates strong, dynamic dancers who embody the rhythm and grace that is inherent to Afro-Caribbean movement💃🏾.

The rhythm, grace and power of Dunham technique builds confident, STRONG dancers who are disciplined yet let their souls play✨.

Our studio founder, De-Ann Weekes () is trained in Duhnam technique and carries Katherine's legacy on to current generations of dancers through her Core-ography classes💥.
