As we (re)learn to create from safety, a one breath story is an ideal place to dive deep — “because every breath is a life lived in and of itself” — and still come up for air. Can you bring an idea, an entire world, to life in a single exhale? A challenge so beautiful in its impossibility, yet impossible to fail. Because you live that one breath (whatever the words) as YOUR story when you read and share — the most delicious catch-22! And to write one breath you have all the time in the world. Focus on your intention. Let you imagination wander. Relax your body and breathe into your “home creative frequency” (a Triple Gratitude Breath does wonders). Filter through your focus, gather the words, now pick and sort and play!

Good luck creating from fight or flight! If you do manage to squeeze something out while every motivation is sprinting wildly for the exit, kudos to you. Underneath a nervous system on fire is a lost permission, raw and unearned, a birthright: to create from safety. To play!
What is your “home creative frequency?” So many words exist to name the space beyond them: wholeness, yoga, grounded, postcoital (oops), centred, peace, bliss. Your home creative frequency is your personal play space. Practice is the path! Tools like the Triple Gratitude Breath (30 second nervous system reset) and Create From Safety Hunts are fun and neurologically efficient ways to connect/align your body, environment, and inner world, because ultimately, you’re retraining your whole system. This is hardcore love.
The payoff? I have another name for my own home creative frequency… “Playful Genius.” And I’m not apologizing. Our nervous systems care about survival. And if I was on a desert island, being a playful genius would be my most honest chance at life. So there.
