Since it’s Friday, let’s take a peek at the Veranda at Legacy basement lounge tucked just off the main rec room.

Designed as a quiet retreat from the activity happening elsewhere in the lower level, this moody space is all about slowing down at the end of a long week. Rich, dark finishes, warm wood accents, and soft lighting create an atmosphere that instantly invites you to pour a glass of wine, put on some music, and settle in for the evening.

Behind the steel-and-glass door, a dedicated wine room and wet bar make entertaining effortless, while the lounge itself offers the perfect spot to kick up your feet and unwind.

Sometimes the best spaces in a home are the ones designed to pause, relax, and enjoy the moment.

Laundry rooms are one of those spaces that can make everyday life either feel effortless or chaotic.

For our Veranda at Legacy show home, we wanted this room to feel calm, functional, and timeless. Warm cabinetry paired with brass hardware and classic black-and-white checkerboard flooring creates a space that feels anything but utilitarian.

There is plenty of room for sorting, folding, soaking, and hanging, because real life happens here. Thoughtful storage keeps the essentials tucked away, while durable finishes ensure this room will work just as hard years from now as it does today.

One of the things we love most about designing homes in Legacy is that no two laundry rooms are ever the same. Right now, we have everything in the works, from warm all-wood cabinetry to soft, dusty-rose millwork, along with fully customized features like pull-out drying racks, dedicated linen storage, sweater drawers, gift-wrap stations, and spaces designed specifically around how each family lives.

Because even the hardest-working rooms in a home deserve thoughtful design!!
