2020 was a year unlike any other. Among other things, while fighting the Covid-19 global pandemic racist & hate filled ideologies have grown and become more prominent. They were given legitimacy. Conspiracy myths, holocaust denial and misinformation spread has reached an all time high. That's how it starts.
Never again.

Collective silence can lead to atrocities. Things we think can't happen again become a dangerous reality. Seeing a noose built at the US Capitol is something I never thought to see. What would've happened if they dragged someone over to it?
Never again.

'They' (MAGA crowd) attacked a black woman simply for walking home from work. She thought she was going to die. Denialism, misinformation, conspiracy theories and hate has taken centre stage and its up to all decent humans to stop its dangerous spread.
Never again.

Today marks 75 years since Auschwitz-Birkenau was liberated. 75 years. Have we learned?
Never again.

How we got there in the first place needs to be shared. The stories of survivors need to be told. 'The Holocaust didn’t occur in a vacuum. It was the product of unchecked hatred and collective silence.'

Let's repeat. UNCHECKED HATRED. COLLECTIVE SILENCE. A common thread? Misinformation, conspiracy, propaganda, fake news, alternative facts, the big lie. Recognize any of those?
Now, more than ever, NEVER AGAIN.

NEVER. AGAIN. IS. NOW.

This is a noose made by Trump supporters. They erected a cross too. All they were missing was their white sheets and their pointy hats. This is disgusting.

They were setting this AP gear on fire too. Capitol Building breached. Windows broken. Looting. Multiple injuries, and a woman killed. Democracy attacked.

4 years America. This is what 4 years of Trump leadership (and GOP complicity) brings. They stoked the fires of white supremacy, racism, misogyny & elitism while stomping on free speech and spreading propaganda for 4 years... Trump told them to show their strength... Well I think all the cards are on the table now...

You are so much better than this America... you are so much better than HIM and his brand... because it's time to face it if you ever supported him. He was only ever in this for himself and his brand. 💰 💰
