Our Alberta women smashed a milestone this past weekend in Montreal competing at Canada’s first ever Women’s Wheelchair Rugby National Championship! 👏
The Western Lights which included our Calgary Inferno teammate Kasey Aiello along with Red Deer Reapers Kim Payzant took home gold! 🏆
The Central Lights won silver after a hard fought battle by our Calgary Inferno teammate Ashley Munro and Edmonton Steel Wheels Kendall Winter! 🥈
Kasey finally got knocked over for the first time! Laughs were had, friendship bracelets were made (no easy feat with limited hand function), and some fierce rugby was showcased. Go back and watch the livestreams for proof!

Our Women’s Wheelchair Rugby Have A Go is scheduled for May 3rd at MNP!
Join us from 2:00-4:30pm to learn the basics of wheelchair rugby and fall in love with a new para-sport!
Open to women+ who have a physical disability.
The session will be run by our Calgary Inferno teammates Ashley & Kasey. 💪🏼🏐
