Tre og mann. Moss, 2025
While walking along a farm road near Moss, I noticed a man camped out reading (or perhaps watching a video). I waited for several minutes to see if he would pack up under the threat of an impending thunderstorm, but I chickened out and headed for my car before he left.

Noctilucent clouds. Sognsvann, 2025
I have been hunting noctilucent clouds for a long time, and this is the first image of them that I have managed to get. Noctilucent clouds (NLCs), or ‘night-shining clouds,’ are the thin, ragged, electric-blue streaks you see here.
They are the highest clouds in Earth’s atmosphere, sitting about 75 to 85 kilometers above the surface. For context, regular weather clouds rarely exceed 10 to 15 km. NLCs are made of tiny ice crystals forming on suspended dust particles—likely left over from meteors or volcanic ash.
