Every year on November 11th, I think about the poem In Flanders Fields. It’s something I grew up hearing, but it hits differently as an adult.
So many brave souls gave up their lives so that people like me could live in peace, safety, and comfort.
Their sacrifice built the freedom we often take for granted, including the right to speak, to love, and to live without fear.
Today, I remember them with deep gratitude. ❤️
