Location – Cockscomb Basin Forest Reserve, Belize
-
We spent a good 3 hours hiking up and down this river. I'm glad the only wildlife we saw were a few birds. The foliage from the river was absolutely amazing and the crystal-clear water was unbelievable. Unfortunaly no treasures either.

I highly recommend visiting the national reserve, although you should probably book a guided tour with the park.
