Truth Behind the Terror
05/29/2026
Life has been a little chaotic this month, so you’re going to have to wait a couple more days for the new episode on The Strangers…
In the meantime, here’s a sneak peek at a few things I’ve been working on behind the scenes. 👀🌲
Something spooky is being built.
Stay tuned.
Stay curious.
And definitely… stay in the woods.

Home is supposed to be safe.
It’s where we lock the doors.
Turn on the lights.
Let our guard down.
But what happens when that sense of safety… isn’t real?
This month on Truth Behind the Terror, we’re stepping away from the wild and into something much closer to home.
🎧 And this month’s deep dive…
The Strangers (2008)
A film that strips horror down to something far more unsettling than monsters or the supernatural:
No motive.
No explanation.
Just the realization that sometimes…
being home doesn’t protect you.
Stay curious.
And maybe… double-check your locks tonight.

🌊🦈 New Episode Out Now
Just When You Thought It Was Safe… The Truth Behind Jaws
This movie didn’t just make people afraid of sharks…
It made people afraid of the ocean.
In this episode of Truth Behind the Terror, we’re diving into the film that launched the modern blockbuster, and the real stories, fears, and consequences behind it.
From the 1916 shark attacks that inspired the book… to the USS Indianapolis… to the lasting impact Jaws had on how we see sharks today…
This isn’t just a story about a movie.
It’s a story about how fear is created.
Because sharks didn’t change.
We did.
🎧 Listen now
And… we’re getting close to 2000 downloads 👀
I may have something a little spooky planned when we get there.
Stay curious.
(But maybe… stay out of the water.)

🐦🕯️ Friday Night Movie Recommendation
The Birds (1963)
No warning.
No explanation.
No escape.
This week’s pick is The Birds, Alfred Hitchcock’s slow-burn classic where a quiet coastal town becomes the target of something… unnatural.
At first, it’s just a few birds behaving strangely.
Then more.
And more.
Until the sky itself feels dangerous.
What makes The Birds so unsettling isn’t just the attacks… it’s the lack of answers.
There’s no clear cause.
No logic.
No way to reason with it.
Just the growing realization that something has shifted, and humans are no longer in control.
And in a way… that unease carried over into the filming itself.
For some of the attack scenes, real birds were used, and actress Tippi Hedren later revealed that live birds were thrown at her to make the reactions feel more authentic.
Which somehow makes those scenes even harder to watch.
🎧 This month on Truth Behind the Terror, we’re exploring what happens when nature turns on us…
Leading up to Jaws.🦈
Stay curious.
And maybe… don’t look up.

🌊🐾 April Arc Announcement: Claws and Jaws
This month… we’re leaving the haunted houses behind.
And heading straight into the wild.
From oceans to jungles to the sky itself, April is all about what happens when nature stops playing nice.
🎬 Friday Night Movie Picks:
🐻 Co***ne Bear (because chaos is a valid genre)
🐍 Anaconda (nature, but make it personal)
🐦 The Birds (when nowhere is safe)
🎧 And for this month’s deep dive…
we’re going back to the one that made everyone afraid to go in the water:
Jaws.
Because sometimes the scariest stories aren’t about ghosts or demons…
They’re about teeth.
And the very real reminder that we are not at the top of the food chain.
Stay tuned.
And maybe… don’t go in the water.
