A: I’m Lance. Dad & Partner to an amazingly supportive human. Tons of animals. Manager at Boarding House and owner of Ten01 Design & Marketing.

Q: How long have you lived in Medicine Hat? Why do you like living here?

A: Born & Raised. Ran away after college for a short bit, however came back once kids became the focus. Love all the outdoor activity’s in and around Medicine Hat.

Q: If you could time travel, When/where would you go?

A: I’d go into the future by 20 years and see if I ever got my sh*t together, Then probably cry cause I’m sure I’d still be winging it.

Q: What were some of your highlights this summer in and around Medicine Hat? Anything your looking forward to this fall/winter?

A: Took up re-learning skateboarding after a 15 year break & have been loving what it does for the soul. Lots of paddle boarding & hiking. As for winter I’m super hyped for snowboarding.

Q: What would you like to see more of in Medicine Hat that could continue to enrich the community?

A: Outdoor based activity’s. They are building a pump track at the old solar plant. Really excited to see that complete. Build up along the river to encourage kayak & paddle boarding. More mini skate parks is always a plus.

Q: What is some advice you would give to the next generation of Hatters looking to create or contribute to making things happen in Medicine Hat?

A: Find what you are passionate about and ask to help anywhere you can. Run a group. Organize activity’s. Get out and do it.

Q: What is a hidden gem in Medicine Hat you would like to share that you wish more people knew about?

A: Floating down our creeks. They are absolutely gorgeous.

A: Lots of mini events with Boarding House, but slowing for the fall.
