Chinook Blast 2026 is in the books, and what a ride it’s been.
Eau Claire Plaza transformed into a full-on light-up playground, packed with world-class talent, community energy, and winter magic at every turn.
Family Day Long Weekend closed us out in style with stacked lineups, day and night performances, and a mix of new discoveries and festival favourites.
It was a Chinook-fueled season from start to finish and we’re riding this momentum straight into spring.

Don't miss your chance to skate during Chinook Blast!
The weather is warm, but the ice is solid. 🧊 Plus, the first 50 skate rentals are free, thanks to our Skate Hut sponsor, Alberta Blue Cross (first come, first serve).
You can also try ice bikes! A fun and accessible way to glide across the ice (helmets are mandatory for riders under 18; please bring your own, as rentals are not available).
