What do you wish you had known during your cancer experience?
— as someone diagnosed or a caregiver.
So many people say, “I didn’t know that existed” — until after the fact.
— "I went through it alone" —"I didn't even know my family member had cancer until the end"
You don't need to share your whole story. Even answering one of these helps:
🔅What do you wish was easier during your cancer experience?
🔆Were there supports and resources you only found out about after the fact — that you wish you knew about earlier?
🔅What would have helped you feel more supported, understood or guided?

Introducing myself — Dakoda Stacey
I am an Indigenous founder working in cancer support based in Alberta. I have seen firsthand how difficult it is to find the right supports, resources, benefits, and culturally safe guidance in this already hard time — especially those navigating cancer alone or from remote communities.
This is why I am building Raevn Tele — not a healthcare service but a culture and community focused entry point to bridge this gap. This Indigenous-led and owned organization is being built currently with community input every step of the way.
If cancer has touched your life in any way — past or present, as a patient or caregiver — I invite you to take a look, follow along, and share your experience to help shape what is being built.

Raevn Tele is being built from the ground up — guided by community, lived experience, and the voices that have too often been left out of the conversation.
Before building technology, we focus on listening.
Before creating systems, we focus on relationships.
Because meaningful care doesn't start with platforms — its starts with people.
🌿Indigenous-led
🌿Community-informed
🌿Connecting to care at the pace of trust
