Great event up in Lilloet at the local airport for street legal drags with a side of drifting. Put on by Route 99 Show & Shine and Speedology 101, you can enter your car to get it on the air strip for $200 or spectate for an easy five bucks.
Fun atmosphere and stunning location as the air strip ends at a steep drop off for planes to cruise off through the canyon.
Lots of good motels close by in Lilloet as well as the official campground for the after party and morning show and shine.
There was a $10,000 prize for the serious competitors but all in all a fun event for anyone.
Plus, there are some spectacular cruising roads around in every direction, from Lilloet towards Cache Creek, towards Lytton, and towards Pemberton.
PS: it looks like they hold a similarly styled event in late summer in case you regret missing this one.
Friend said he just started getting a check engine light. I asked him to start it up and this was the music that played 🎶🎶🎵🎶SOUND ON
