🚨 BREAKING: Canada Suspends Entry & Imposes Quarantines Due to Ebola Risk 🚨
The Government of Canada has announced strict new immigration and travel measures:
🔹 90-Day Document Suspension: Effective May 27 at 23:59 EDT, immigration documents for residents of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, and South Sudan are suspended.
🔹 Travel Restrictions: Even if you hold a previously approved Temporary Resident Visa, eTA, or Permanent Resident Visa, travel to Canada is currently not allowed. Application processing for these countries is also paused.
🔹 Mandatory 21-Day Quarantine: Starting May 30 at 23:59 EDT until August 29, 2026, anyone (including Canadian citizens, PRs, and foreign nationals) who has been in these areas within the last 21 days—and is asymptomatic—must quarantine for 21 days upon arrival.
