Last month we were lucky enough to have some friends come up and meet the rescues & other resident horses while experiencing the magic of fall in the Cariboo.

Introducing Aspen ♥️🌳 (previously Lot #99…)

A few weeks ago when we picked up this young lady from being sent to slaughter she was feral and untouchable. Now, (in a short amount of time on the rescue scale), her curiosity, innocence, confidence and beautifully kind nature has turned her into the first one at the fence in the morning and the last one in your pocket at the end of the day.

The smart and willing mind of this little lady, in addition to how fancy she is, gives us high hopes for her future!

There is one last recent rescue to introduce that we saved at the same time as Aspen and her name follows the tree theme… any guesses?

The last two photos show Gus one week post rescue vs. five weeks post rescue! He still has a ways to go in terms of his weight and muscle conditioning but he has come so far already! 💪💕
