Central West Self Management Program
07/24/2021
July 24th is International Self-Care Day – a date symbolic in that the benefits of self-care are experienced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Within the past year, self-care has become increasingly important in navigating the numerous changes that were unveiled alongside the COVID-19 pandemic. We have all been so resilient in navigating these changes and discovering new, exciting activities that allow us to bring an awareness to our internal selves.
Here you will find some quick ways to incorporate self-care practices into your everyday routine. The Mental Health Commission of Canada has created a Self-Care and Resilience Guide to help you assess your current state and work towards an action plan that suits your own self-care needs.
