Victoria Frick Creates

The first piece of art I have created in my new studio space. It was my mum's birthday and she always has tiger lilies in the house when they're available. I thought she would love to have one that is always in bloom.

Stabilo Carbothello Pastel Pencils on Black Mixed Media Paper

This piece was quite a challenge and I loved it. A Christmas gift from a wife to her husband, a portrait of him from his days in the Canadian Armed Forces, proudly pictured here with his the equipment he watched over. This is quite probably one of the most detailed drawings I have ever executed, and I am so pleased with the results. I got the chance to add in colour to one of my graphite portraits and this was executed using Derwent Lightfast coloured pencils. The mat was customized with his military title in red foil.
