The Learning Loft

I am a certificated teacher with 25+ years experience teaching all grade levels. I currently teach grades 1/2 and provide private tutoring to children in need of support in language or maths.

I have my Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree, Bachelor of Education in Intermediate Senior, Advanced Bachelor of Arts (Masters) in Counselling as well as a Specialist Designation as a Consultant in Early Childhood. I am also a Rainbows Grief and Trauma Counsellor.

My area of specialty is working with children who are having difficulty learning how to read. I utilise an approach that targets children who fall within the bottom 15% of learners and who require intensive support, although I am more than happy to work with all children! I design individualised programs for each child and adjust regularly based on progress.
