Apology and Announcement / Updated Schedule for the Soccer Event at Santa Cruz

Dear Participants/Teams/Football Fans,

We hope this message finds you well! First and foremost, we want to thank you for the incredible enthusiasm and support you’ve shown for the upcoming soccer event. It’s been amazing to see so many teams sign up and share their excitement about participating.

After much consideration, we’ve decided to make some changes to the event schedule. While we initially planned to host the soccer marathon on August 2 and 3, we realized that we would not have enough time to complete all the necessary preparations to ensure the event is a success.

In particular, we need more time to fix and prepare the field to meet the best standards for gameplay, fix goal posts, fix light posts and to build bleachers to provide a better viewing experience for everyone attending. These improvements are important to us because we want to deliver an event that’s not only fun but also memorable for participants and spectators alike.

Additionally, we’ve also taken to heart the feedback from some of you regarding scheduling difficulties on Saturdays, as many players have work commitments. To address this, we’ve decided to reschedule the event as a competition format on the following Sundays: August 17, 24, 31.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause and deeply appreciate your understanding. Our goal remains to create an event that is enjoyable, inclusive, and well-organized for everyone participating.
