PUBLIC NOTICE

Tlokweng District Council will be conducting Village and Ward Development Committee (VDC/WDC) elections on the 27th of July 2026, driven by new Amendment Regulations.

These guidelines emphasize accountability, non-partisanship, and enhanced community participation, featuring a 90-day process initiated to restructure local governance.

Submission of Applications commenced on the 4th of May 2026 and deadline for submission will be the 4th of July 2026.

🗳️ PUBLIC NOTICE – VDC ELECTIONS, JULY 27, 2026

The Sefoke Village Development Committee (VDC) informs all stakeholders : NGOs, donors, and the Sefoke community , that elections will be held on July 27, 2026 at Sefoke Kgotla in Tlokweng .

This transition is part of our regular governance process. While membership may change, the VDC assures partners that ongoing projects and collaborations will continue, guided by our commitment to transparency, accountability, and service.

We encourage all stakeholders to remain engaged and support the process, ensuring continuity and shared progress for the community.

We also encourage all community members to participate actively in the elections and continue supporting initiatives that strengthen our village.
