Working together for a cleaner Botswana ๐ฑ
Today, 15 July 2026, the Department of Environmental Protection hosted the Plastic Producers' Stakeholder Engagement.
We brought together key partners from the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Environment and Tourism, and leading plastic producers including KPI Plastics, Green Manufacturer, Starpack, and Botala Plastics to discuss solutions for plastic waste management and extended producer responsibility in Botswana, following the pronouncement during the 2025 SONA to ban single use plastic carrier bags.
