🌿Celebrating World Mental Health Day
For years, my focus on mental wellness meant serving others… often forgetting myself. This year, I decided to pause and intentionally serve myself,to actively work on my healing, personal growth, and become the version of myself I always encourage others to be and most importantly, to treat myself with the care I’ve always extended to others.
I’m proud to say I am where I wanted to be, ready to pour into others from the overflow of my own cup. The growth I sought came only by being intentional in every area of my life. Simple daily actions like reflection, journaling and setting small mental health goals have made a profound difference in my journey.
đź’ Today, I encourage you to reflect: What one small intentional action will you take for your mental wellness today?

Off late i have been reflecting on, What does serving an intentional God look like?
Well serving an intentional God means I don’t serve because it’s a routine or pressure but rather serving with purpose. It also means understanding that what ever happens in my life happens for a reason and his timing is not random most importantly is understanding that i have a divine understanding that needs to fulfill.
So serving God means serving with everything be it my words, dressing or presence as it carries the fulfillment of the given purpose.

First Seminar of the Year🥹
The other weekend I attended a powerful seminar which was all about Reinventing yourself through personal branding and public speaking. One of my take home on personal branding was your personal branding is not what you say about yourself but what your presence makes others to say about themselves when they leave your presence.
Let me share an assignment with you if your want to start working on your personal branding. Firstly do self reflection and after that write 3 words that describe you.

Ever noticed how it’s so easy to shift from light or positive emotion to heavy or negative emotion but moving back takes everything in you?
One moment you’re okay… then suddenly, something shifts. You feel different, heavier, quieter, disconnected and it’s strange how fast it happens and how natural it feels to sink. The emotional shift is so quick and easy but the climb back is the part no one prepares you for. This is because our brains are wired to notice and hold onto what feels like danger, discomfort, or threat.
It’s a survival instinct so when something negative happens, your system responds quickly but moving back to a lighter state that is peace, hope or confidence, that doesn’t trigger the same urgency.
The moving back takes conscious effort,self-awareness and it takes choosing yourself in moments when everything feels off. And that’s why the journey back is harder and longer. This is because it means you're not just reacting anymore you are responding, you are healing, you are growing and you are discovering yourself.
So if you're in the middle of that shift, trying to find your way back, keep on putting that effort to get back to where you want.

This past weekend, Brainfit Botswana held an inspiring mental health seminar themed: Mindset Matters: The Foundation for Success.
Speakers shared stories and strategies on how our mindset can either build or break our success. One major highlight was the power of a growth mindset — being intentional with your goals and living a purposeful life.
We were reminded that success requires more than dreams. It takes planning, consistency, and belief in yourself.
Such an amazing space to reflect, learn, and invest in our mental wellness and personal development. Thank you to everyone who joined us🥹💚🤍
The Best Tool for Personal Growth is Journaling
One of my goals this year was to journal consistently, and I’m proud to say I’ve been doing a great job of it. The best thing about journaling is that it’s a safe space where I can be completely honest with myself—about my feelings, my thoughts, and everything in between. It's where I vent, have conversations with myself, and encourage my growth.Journaling has allowed me to reflect on myself regularly and identify areas where I need to improve.
If you’ve been struggling to organize your thoughts, reflect on yourself, or gain insight into your feelings, or if you simply find it hard to vent, I encourage you to start journaling. You’ll be amazed at what you can learn about yourself.
Fill up your cup until it overflows and what overflows from it use it to fill in other people’s cups.
If you don’t figure out who you are then the world will decide that for you.
