POSTPONEMENT OF DHAA BOTSWANA

Dear Stakeholders,

We hope this message finds you well. We are writing to inform you with regret that we have had to make the difficult decision to postpone the upcoming Dhaa Botswana, originally scheduled for 24 -25th November 2023.

After careful consideration and unforeseen circumstances that have arisen (including but not limited to the new partnership with premium sponsors), we have made a tough decision to postpone to 2024 so that we can give you a world class event that will make an impact in our society. We understand the inconvenience this may cause and sincerely apologize for any disruption to your plans.

We also remain committed to ensuring that the Chobe district will benefit from our inaugural event as we have promised. We take this opportunity to thank the people of Kasane for the welcome; Kgosi ya Kasane, the MP of Chobe, our gorgeous venue, Cresta Mowana, Chobe Safari Lodge for their hospitality, and lastly to all our supporters.

We are brewing something special for 2024 - for both our international and local partners and once again, we are committed to using the same people going forward.

As we always say at Dhaa Botswana, it is the thought that wins the race not just the implementation.

Florence Eunice Radisweng is the founder and Creative Director at FEURA . A Valuation Surveying practitioner, Ms Radisweng joined the fashion industry through her love for unique sportswear having been competitive at national level in Ballroom and Latin American dance, aerobics and volleyball for years.

In 2016 she graduated in the three years’ Chanel Foundation Women Enterprise Development Programme that started in Botswana in 2013. This programme took her through her first formal training in fashion design and a designer was born.
Florence has participated locally,regionally and internationally.

DHAA BOTSWANA SHOWCASE

My collection named ‘A Kgosing’ is inspired by all things royalty. Like the rest of the world, bogosi is the societal pinnacle hence the dedication of this collection to our departed Queen, mama Ruth.
Our looks in this show will speak Queen , King, Prince, Princess. As a Kaizen guided and environmentally cautious business, some pieces are made from reused components and harvested fabrics.

"Cavern Mubita, a 21 year old tall young man who resides in Kasane. A self inspired sports man with 2 silver medals in 2017 and 2018. Also an individual who's always up to task and keen on taking on new challenges as they help me grow as an individual that being said this is why I've taken a sudden interest in a modelling career. I haven't being in any runways shows before and im looking forward working with Dhaa Botswana."
