Celebrating Excellence, Friendship and the Power of Strong Professional Networks

One of the greatest assets anyone can cultivate in business and in life is a network of competent, trustworthy and principled professionals.

Recently I had the pleasure of spending time with Victor Ramalepa of Ramalepa Attorneys—a distinguished Senior Legal Practitioner, a former participant in my Mogobe Real Estate Mentorship Programme, a respected colleague, and, importantly, one of the lawyers I trust to represent our interests.

I am particularly delighted to celebrate Victor and his outstanding team following their recent victory in a major case for the Mogobe Inc. Group. Their preparation, legal acumen, professionalism and commitment to excellence were evident throughout. It is always reassuring to know that when complex legal battles arise, there are practitioners of this calibre ready to stand in the gap.

Success is seldom a solo journey. Behind every thriving entrepreneur, every successful business and every significant enterprise is a network of exceptional professionals—lawyers, accountants, bankers, engineers, architects and many others—whose expertise quietly makes greatness possible.

I have always believed that your network is one of your greatest forms of capital. Invest in relationships. Celebrate the success of others. Support excellence wherever you find it. When good people win, we all win.

Congratulations once again to Victor Ramalepa and the entire Ramalepa Attorneys team. May this victory be one of many more to come.

Here’s to excellence, collaboration and building institutions that stand the test of time.

MREMP 11TH COHORT IS OFF TO A FLYING START!

What an extraordinary day of learning, inspiration, networking and personal transformation as we officially launched Session 2 of the 11th Cohort of the Mogobe Real Estate Mentorship Programme (MREMP), our BQA Accredited and HRDC-Endorsed flagship real estate mentorship programme.

The day began with an opening prayer, after which Programme Coordinator Ms Gosego Segone warmly welcomed all attendees and guests, setting the tone for a memorable day of learning and growth.

Our Master of Ceremonies, Leo Tlhomelang, then officially took over proceedings, welcoming everyone once again before posing a powerful question to the audience:

“Why are you here?”

That simple yet profound question immediately challenged everyone to reflect on their purpose for joining the programme.

Our journey then commenced with Otlhaga Mompoloki Mogobe, Co-Founder of Mogobe Capital Partners, who unpacked the exciting Extension 10 Lerud Ltd investment opportunity. He highlighted the immense power of collaboration among Batswana through the Variable Rate Loan Stock Company (VRLSC) model. He was ably assisted by Arnold Tambi, who expertly unpacked the numbers, financial structure and commercial mechanics behind the transaction.

We were then privileged to hear from Sean Ndlovu, Land Enthusiast and Paralegal, who delivered an insightful presentation on Sectional Title Developments and Property Subdivisions, demonstrating how these strategies unlock value and create exciting opportunities within the property sector.

Former MREMP Cohort 7 mentee Moemedi Senwelo, founder of Crack It, delivered one of the day’s most inspiring testimonies. Once a university dropout, he shared how mentorship transformed his thinking and trajectory. Fresh from launching his latest book yesterday, he recounted how he built a business that at one stage grew to over 50 study centres, now operating around 20 centres together with a college. He also explained how the banking and finance lessons from MREMP gave him the confidence to approach financial institutions and use bank funding to expand his business. His story reminded everyone that setbacks can become the foundation for extraordinary success.

Next, Mr Baitlotli, CEO of Property Plug and respected Property Valuation Expert, masterfully unpacked the art and science of property valuation. He explained the many factors that determine value and surprised many by pointing out that even if a neighbouring property is valued or sold below market value, it can negatively influence the valuation of your own property. It was a fascinating reminder that successful property investment requires both technical expertise and strategic thinking.

I then had the privilege of sharing the timeless message of “The Poor Wise Man Who Saved a City,” drawing practical lessons from Scripture and presenting 10 compelling reasons why aspiring investors and developers should join MREMP. Great cities, businesses and lasting legacies are often built by people whose wisdom far exceeds their recognition.

Our final session was delivered by Pastor and Brain Science Expert, Dr Lebo Moeti, on the captivating topic:

“The Investor’s Brain: Rewiring Your Mind for Real Estate Success.”

His presentation challenged us to appreciate that successful investing begins with mastering the mind. He concluded the programme with final words of encouragement before offering the benediction and the closing prayer.

Today was far more than a programme launch. It was a masterclass in real estate, entrepreneurship, finance, leadership, psychology and personal development.

I am delighted that many participants made the decision to officially enrol in the 11th Cohort of MREMP, joining a growing community of property investors determined to transform their financial futures through knowledge, discipline and action.

To every speaker, attendee, organiser and new mentee—thank you for making today a resounding success.

The journey has begun. The future belongs to those who prepare for it.

MREMP – We Enthuse. We Energise. We Inspire. We Empower.
