What struck us:

1. Universal access: Grab bars, emergency buttons, space to turn — designed for tall, short, wheelchair users, elderly, children. One restroom, all bodies.
2. Aligned amenities: Drinking water, hand wash, dryer, vending — one flow, no walking around.
3. Maintenance-ready: Surfaces that clean fast, fixtures that last, layouts that make daily work easier.
Cleanliness is same like ProTouch manages in Bhutan. But the infrastructure? We can do better.

Same mission. Smarter buildings. That's the bridge we're bringing home.

𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝: 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞 𝟓-𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

22 May 2026 — Five days. Twenty-three men and women who keep our sacred spaces and roads welcoming.
One shared promise: every visitor deserves cleanliness, and every cleaner deserves respect.
From 18 to 22 May, Central and Southern Monuments Restroom Managers and Roadside Amenities Managers gathered at Tsirang for Advanced Hygiene & Excellence Training, funded by the Department of Tourism, Bhutan.

What they mastered:

- Mindful cleaning and Mindset
- Touch-point sequencing that stops germ spread
- Water-saving techniques for remote, high-traffic sites
- Eco-chemical handling that protects rivers and health
- Female-friendly and inclusive sanitation setups
- Daily SOP discipline that turns chaos into routine

What they earned:
Not just a certificate. A title. Certified Restroom Manager — recognized, skilled, dignified.

Now You all are no longer "the person who cleans." You are guardians of first impressions, protectors of public health, ambassadors of Bhutan's hospitality. When a tourist enters your restroom after a long drive, when a pilgrim washes hands before a monastery visit — that moment of relief is your work. That is your dignity.

We thank Tsirang Dzongkhag Administration Dasho Dzongdag for seeing what others overlook. Your presence at closing told every participant that their work matters to the nation.
We thank the Department of Tourism, Bhutan for investing in the invisible infrastructure that holds Bhutan's tourism reputation together.

Today we inspected production lines for the gear that keeps cleaners safe.

Every item sampled, stress-tested, compared against Bhutan's humidity, altitude, and shift lengths.
Because "safety first" is not a slogan. It's equipment that actually protects.

𝐁𝐡𝐮𝐭𝐚𝐧'𝐬 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭: 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝-𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐓𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞.

First day in China. Optimistic.
Sitting across from a factory manager who asked, "Bhutan? Where is that?"
We showed photos. Taktsang, Punakha Dzong. Our trainees in uniform.
He got quiet. Then said, "Small country, big standards. We can work with that."
That's the ProTouch way. Earn respect, then earn partnership.
