The Bhutan Trust Fund for Environmental Conservation (BTF) launched a four-part comic series titled “Bhutan Climate Chronicles” yesterday.
The series, featuring stories of real-life climate champions from across the country, aims to make environmental conservation more accessible and engaging, especially for the younger generation.

BTF Large Grant Funding

On March 8, Bhutan Trust Fund (BTF) and the Ministry of Finance, along with eight project partners, formalised grant agreements totaling Nu 79.219 million for large-scale projects for 2023-2024.

These projects were selected by an Independent Technical Advisory Panel from 86 proposals, emphasising biodiversity preservation, human-wildlife coexistence, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and mitigating environmental impacts from development.

This funding, aligned with Bhutan's 13th Five-Year Plan priorities and BTF’s commitment to environmental conservation, marks the projects’ readiness for implementation.
