Tshechu are annual religious Bhutanese festivals held in each district of Bhutan on tenth day of month of Bhutanese calander and the month depends on place.
Tshechu are large social gatherings, which perform the function of social gathering among people, where people of different places come and witness wearing national dress gho and kira.
The focal point of the tshechus are Cham dances. These costumed, masked dances typically are moral tales or based on incidents from the life of Guru Padmasambhava and other saints. Monks and laymen perform masked dances, in largely different plays. Groups of women and men perform songs, with limited dance movements, in between the plays.

๐ง๐น๐ง๐น๐ง๐น Bhutan is the unique travel destination in the world. Dodeydrak monastery is known as Second Tsari after Tibetan Tsari. It is located on a mountain about two hours uphill walk from end of the motor road from Samteling palace, Thimphu Bhutan. Dodeydrak monastery was built around 12th century, according to the prophecy of chief Abbot Yoenten Thaye, the reincarnation of Chana Dorji, also known as Vajrapani(The God of power and energy). Je Yoenten Thaye was working as teacher in Phajoding before and one night in his dream, he found himself meditating in a small cave at the present site of Dodeydrak monastery. That night he also dreamt of Jetsun Milarepa(the mad man) flying up high and waving a white scarf at him. So considering this dream as auspicious, Je Yoenten Thaye built this temple in around 1779 on the face of a cliff inside which is hidden text known as Dodey Kezang. There are many different relics in lhakhang out of which some important ones are; statue of Zhabdrung Phuntshom Tshogpa, statue of Tshela Namsum, painting of pig-face shaped statue of Dorji Phagmo, statue of three Buddhas; future Buddha Maitreya , present Buddha Jowo Sakyamuni and Buddha Amitabah, and Ter Thro(spiritual pot).
