His Eminence the Leytshog Lopen Sangay Dorji donated back to the community $15,000, which is the entire amount that Lopen Rinpoche has received from offerings made by devotees through various home visits and the Wang Lung Ceremony on April 23.

About 1000 Bhutanese living in Australia attended the event.

The donation will help strengthen the Bhutanese Buddhist & Cultural Center in Canberra དཔལ་ལྡན་འབྲུག་པའི་ཆོས་དང་ལམ་སྲོལ་ལྟེ་བ། (registered as Druk Namgyel Chhoeling) and enable it to provide various spiritual services to the community and help its objective of promoting our national identity and culture.

The community members deeply thanked Lopen Rinpoche for the generous support for the welfare of the community.
