I’ve been teaching myself how to use AI for videos and animation lately. It’s tedious, but it completely sparks a renewed level of creativity in me!
It’s a full-circle moment because my original dream was a career in graphics and computer animation. Back then, my family couldn’t see the vision (they thought a computer career was like being an artist—not reasonable or profitable!). Now, look at the world! Everything is automated, and it feels great to circle back to this childhood passion.

That passion is what fueled the AI animation I created for this post, which leads me to the real reason for sharing: This Saturday’s Sacred Bush Talks!
I’m so excited and honored to host this session and share my knowledge of Bahamian bush medicine healing. Join us for a nourishing afternoon of:

• Communing with bush tea.
• Crafting healing tinctures.
• Sharing our relationship with the plants that heal us.

Keeping with the spirit and tradition of a nice Bahamian afternoon, we’ll have delicious homemade cassava bread to enjoy with our tea! Feel free to bring any light snacks you’d like to share, and please bring a water bottle for refills.
